Field Schedule

Referee Evaluation

Our District (District 6) provides an opportunity for the evaluation of game officials.

If you encounter an egregious performance by a referee for an away game played in SYSL, CPL or Metro; please take the time to complete the form (link below) and mail (via U.S. Mail) it in to Larry Svetich at the address indicated at the bottom of the form. U.S. Mail will be the best way to make sure that a copy is provided to him. Please also send me a copy to the GHSC Club President also.

Please be sure that to include the referee's name and all of the other necessary information.

If you encounter a problem with a referee for a game Greenhaven, please follow up with both Mike Koshell (our referee coordinator) and Club President, Shane Singh.

Score Reporting

As described at the Coaches Meeting on September 3rd, here's the reporting procedure for game results this season.

All scores must be reported by no later than 12 noon every Sunday.
Scores must be reported for all games (home or visitor).
To reduce data handling errors, it is strongly recommended that scores be reported directly via the coaches page on the Club website, at:
www.greenhavensoccer.com/Game_Results_Form.htm
If scores cannot be reported at the above website, you may e-mail them to: standings@greenhavensoccer.com (you must include "GHSC" in the subject line); you must report all the same info that is asked for on the website.
If you cannot report via the web or by e-mail, you may report game results by telephone at 427-7237; again, you must report all the same info that is asked for on the website.

SYSL Rainy Day Policy
If the Fields Hot Line states the fields are closed, ALL Greenhaven HOME games are NOT TO BE PLAYED. This includes all park and school fields.

Times and locations for the re-scheduled games will be exactly as shown on the schedule for the first rained out date.

AWAY TEAMS must call the opposing Coach to see if the field the game is to be played on is open or closed.

	Make-Up Games: If there is an issue with make-up games that need to be scheduled for GH home games, please direct that issue to Mike Koshell @ 916.422.1080
	All completed Game Cards must be dropped off at the Referee Coordinator's home: 7684 Roman Oak Way (click here for map)

	Interested in becoming a Coach? This position requires a substantial time commitment, but is one of the most rewarding positions in the club. Training and instruction will be provided to anyone willing to learn. E-mail the coaching coordinator: Wayne Novoa or the appropriate Age Group Coordinator, or the Coaching Coordinator.
	Coaches Information: As a policy, GSC encourages and expects each Coach to have an "F" license. New coaches are allowed one year to get their 'F' level license. All Metro Coaches must have an "E" license, while Metro Assistant Coaches must have an "F" license.

	Goalkeeper Clinic SYSL has not yet announced the clinics for 2008 A deposit is required to attend these clinics. The F & Goal Keeping clinic deposits are refunded directly by the league upon completion of the course. Any non-refundable costs for GHS coaches to attend an SYSL hosted E clinic will be reimbursed by the club.
